Stages

There is the main festival area in the town centre of Alpe d´Huez in front of the Palais des Sports which is open from late afternoon/early evening during the whole festival week with the Mainstage being open only from Tuesday. There will be four stages in total: Mainstage, Cage, Moose Bar and Core of which the first 3 are indoor and heated. There are also festival partners which have their stalls and some of them host DJ sets too (e.g. Brasa).

During the day there are multiple mountain stages which can all be reached by lifts. So even if you´re a pedestrian you can join all the fun. Wear sturdy shoes as surfaces may be icy.

Check the Tomorrowland newspaper to find out about some smaller stages and their lineup. Not all are on the list in the official app.

For info of which lifts to take to reach the mountain stages please see here

Food & Drinks

The food at Tomorrowland is great. At the food stalls you can expect the same experience and quality like at Tomorrowland in Boom, although due to the smaller size of the festival there are of course not that many options. But there are still dishes from all over the world, including the classic Belgian fries. Don´t miss out on trying the Tartiflette, a local cheese dish which is just absolutely delicious.

You will be able to use your Pearls to pay for drinks and food at the mountain stages and at the main festival area. Some of the mountain restaurants will accept Euro as well. For the ones which do accept Euro make sure you check the prices as paying in Pearls can either be cheaper or more expensive. For 2025 the exchange rate is 2,77 Euro/1 Pearl. Softdrinks cost ~2 Pearls, a beer 2 - 3 Pearls, wine 4 - 5 Pearls, longdrinks ~5 Pearls and cocktails ~8 Pearls. Food prices vary a lot with fries at about 3 Pearls and Burger, Currys etc. at around 7 - 8 Pearls.

Opening times

The mountain stages open at noon and close between 16:30 and 17:30. Don´t worry about the operating times of the lifts if you don´t want to ski back down or if you´re a pedestrian. They will always keep the lifts running until everyone has left the stages. This doesn´t apply to connections to surrounding villages though. Always keep an eye on the official last departure in case you need to go to one of these places by lift. The last departures are mentioned on the pedestrian map which you can find here.

Important: Expect long queues at the lift after the last set. This affects Frozen Lotus in particular where waiting times can be around 1 hour or more.

If you really want to see a specific DJ, be early, especially during the main festival days (Tuesday to Friday). The mountain stages are limited in capacity and will be one out one in if they are full. If a mountain stage is at capacity, lifts leading to said stage will be closed for pedestrians. Holders of Comfort Passes will have priority in most cases.

The main festival area opens at 19:00 and closes between 0:00 and 1:30. Check the official Tomorrowland Winter App for all details and the timetable. There will also be some after parties until the early morning at the little clubs in the town. Chances are that you will even find some big names playing there. Igloo is the place to go if that´s what you´re looking for. Please don´t host your own after parties at your lodging. Some people like to sleep at night.
