FAQ
Is TML Winter worth it?
It definitely is, no doubt about it! See it as a winter holiday with some great music and the TML vibe and you will have an amazing time as long as you don´t mind the cold. It can get pretty chilly at night if you´re not dancing your feet off inside at one of the stages. It´s a different vibe than in Boom for sure and the whole thing is way smaller with only about 22 000 attendees. But that smaller setting high up in the alps makes TML Winter something special not to miss.
Do packages include a Treasure Case?
Packages with lodging include a Treasure Case if a shipping address has been provided when finalizing the order (1 Treasure Case per 2 bracelets). The shipping costs are included in the package price.
For Festival Passes there´s no Treasure Case included. You will be able to either pick up your bracelets at the festival or add the shipping of a Treasure Case (1 TC per 2 tickets) for an additional fee of 13 Euro per ticket for shipping within Europe (18 Euro for worldwide shipping) when finalizing your order for as long as supply lasts. Note: You can´t add the Treasure Case to your order at a later stage.
Are there shuttles to surrounding villages?
In case you book a lodging in one of the surrounding villages you will need access to a car as there are no shuttles and no public transport at night. During the day you can get around via the lifts but they stop running at about 5pm. If you book a package with lodging in the surrounding villages via Sunweb, you can add a shuttle to your order.
Where can I find a map of the slopes/of the hiking trails?
You can find a map here.
Can I access all stages as a pedestrian?
Yes, all stages are accessible by lifts. However, for some of the smaller stages you will have to walk a short distance on snow. Wear sturdy shoes and you will be fine. Check the pedestrian map here to see which lifts you are allowed to use. The lifts marked in black on the map are open for pedestrians, the grey ones are only accessible to skiers/snowboarders.
Are there any after parties?
Yes, there are a few after parties at the local clubs and bars like Igloo Club or Smithys Tavern. You might even see some DJs from the TML Winter line up behind the decks there. However, please don´t host your own after parties at your lodging. Not everyone is keen to wake up to your Hardsystle-playlist at 3am. The resort is open to the public during the festival and your neighbours probably like to sleep at night because they want to be amongst the first people on the slopes in the morning. Keep the action and the music at the festival area. You risk to be kicked out of your accommodation if you don´t.
How can I get tickets if the festival is sold out?
The official waiting list it is. Don´t buy on the secondary market or from random strangers. Your risk to be scammed is extremely high.
What are the opening times of the stages?
Mountain stages Saturday - Monday: 12:00 - 16:30 Mountain stages Tuesday - Friday: 12:00 - 17:30 Main festival area Saturday - Monday: 19:00 - 0:00 (Mainstage closed) Main festival area Tuesday - Friday: 19:00 - 1:30
Do I need to book restaurants in the add-on sale?
No, the food experiences available in the add-on sale are only for particular food options at the mountain stages. All restaurants have walk-in areas as well. You can also find many restaurants in the town. At the main festival area there are several food stalls.
